The first step in identifying the error in AdSense is to analyze the report related to user consent from the EU. Make sure the error code is 7.8. You can do this in two ways below:

  2. Go to the “Brand Safety” section.
  3. Then click on “Content” and select “Blocking Controls.”
  4. Find the widget named “EU user consent” and click on “Manage EU user consent.”
  5. Next, click the button “Download TCF error report”

If you see an error message on the AdSense home page:

Open the file in CSV format. The beginning of the file name is iab_tcf_errors_(…).csv

This means that:

Only limited ads will be served. CMP should fix the TC string implementation errors.

    We use the free version of https://clickio.com/ for cmp, but the last days we face the AdSense’s issue on our IAB TC string.
